Across the world, chemistry will be celebrated for it’s enhancement of our lives, societies, and industries.
2011 has been earmarked as the International Year of Chemistry (IYC 2011), by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), and by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and cultural Organization (UNESCO).
These prime institutions are seeking to unite various organizations around the world, from government to educational institutions and corporate enterprises to not-for profit societies, under the theme of “Chemistry – our life, our future”.
